Ready to Scrap!

It's been a while since I posted! I was sick with the flu, that had me down for approximately five days. I'm grateful that I felt a little better by the time the Stamp, Scrap art Tour came around. I attended the show and it was great as usual. I met a lot of fun talented people. I included pictures of some of the goodies that I bought I tried to organize them, but it was too much small stuff. And the flu still had control of me partially. For the past few days I have been working hard assisting one of my co-workers plan a retreat for a team that I'm a member of at work. The retreat was today and everything went fine, so starting today I'm free again and ready to SCRAP! In the meantime I placed an order with Stampin Up and I can't wait until it comes for some reason I want to try stamping with water colors. If anyone has any experience with this and want to share some tips please feel free to.

Minnie Birthday Set

First of all I broke my promise to post one project every other day.....I knew that wouldn't last long! But, I was able to complete this simple but cute Birthday Set. The heart bag was made from a cutfile designed by Jen C in DS. Minnie is from a Cuttlebug Die/Embossing folder set. I also used Martha Stewarts heart punches. TFL.

Small Stationary Box

Thanks to the creativity of Jen C and Design Studio, I was able to make this cute box. I didn't have time to make cards to go in the box. But I wanted to post a picture tonight to keep my promise of a project every other day. I really love the lady bug die from Quickutz it is very simple but cute. TFL.

"Thank You"

I didn't make this card for any specific person or occasion. I made it to keep my promise to myself to try to complete a project every other day. I didn't use my Expression for this one just my Bigshot, dies, cuttlebug embossing folder and a friskars border punch. I just thought of a good cause for this card......this card is for all of you, my fellow scrappers who stop by my blog. "Thank You" for stopping by.

Bunny Bag

I really love this cute little bunny. I altered this bag from TBBM a little with Design Studio by adding a window for the bunny to peek through. Also, I added the butterfly from Indie Art. Update: I felt this bag was a little too plain for my taste and I shared that thought with my good friend Sandy. She confirmed my I added some text, bling and greenery. Thank you Sandy for giving me your honest opinion. I think it looks much better now!

Some Bunny Loves You.......

This is the first cut that I made with my Big Shot. I love this bunny!

My Newest Enabler!!

My Big Shot arrived today and I'm so happy! I have been using my old reliable Zip E Mate forever, but due to its age and the fact that it was discontinued I couldn't locate any cutting sheets for it. Some of my cuts were beginning to come out raggedy on the ends. I cut a few pieces already and it turns smoothly, plus I'm gaining a much larger cutting space. Now I have to find out what the proper "sandwiches" are for several Spellbinders dies that I have and wasn't able to use before.

My First Clear Card!

I finally got brave enough to complete a clear card and I really like the way it came out. I ordered a set of clear cards about a year ago and never decorated one until today. I need to remember where I ordered these from I want to do more! No Cricut on this one just Sizzix, Nesties, Martha Stewart, Cuttlebug and Flower Soft. TFL

Valentine's Day Bouquet

In between shopping and cleaning I had some time to create this bouquet for my desk at work. I'm so glad that I saved my old Sizzix Orginals dies (leaves & envie). TFL.
