I made this layout using the Imagine More cart. My DD was six years old in this picture. I used a lot of embellishments on this layout and I love the way it came out. It looks much better in person. The flash from the camera made it seem so light in color but it isn't. The butterfly is a Marianne Design Die. I stamped the picture with Starzon ink. TFL.
At the SSPT blog Carrie (Greenbean) issued the following challenge, "This challenge you're going to "fall" in love with! That's right, it's all about autumn! With all the leaves turning, it's given me the inspiration to work with all those purty (sorry that's the WV in me) colors. So break out your reds, purples, oranges, golds and greens and create something totally fall-some!" I would have loved to use some warm fall colors in my submission, but all my fall stuff is at work since I'm working on bulletin boards again. So I had to hunt hard in my craftroom to find some Halloween themed items & paper and this is what I came up with: a large treat bag. I made the rossette with my new Sizzix die that just came in the mail today from http://www.stampingscrapping.com/. TFL
I was very surpsrised to see my Imagine box in my laundry room when I came home from work today, because I didn't pay extra for shipping and the shipping date on my order said 9-23. Updating was easy and cutting and printing was fine also. The only thing that I don't like is the lack of stickyness (is that a word?) on the mat. So I had to use glue on a "brand new" mat. Here are a few of my first cuts, yeah I'm gonna be buying a lot of ink. I love the princess, as soon as the printable vinyl comes that I purchased she will be all over my DD room! So far I'm really loving my Imagine.
I felt like I had to have this cute little paper mache bag when I saw it in Pictures In Time in Jacksonville, Fl. As a matter of fact I purchased three of them. If you are ever in Jacksonville, please stop by Pictures In Time Scrapbook store she has a lot of great things! Today I finally got around to decorating one of them. I used a few cuts from the Creative Memories Reminisce Accents cart, Heartfelt Creations dies & stamps and MS punches. TFL.
